Default Copyright Question

Hi,

I have a question about copyright. I have started to edit one of the free templates, I have replaced all the images with my images made in photoshop, different colors, backgrounds etc. What I now wonder is, if that is enough so that I can remove the original copyright notice, or do I have to build a template completely from the beginning to be able to remove it?

What is your opinion?

If you're talking about Mambo's copyright, you can remove that whenever.

When you install Mambo for the first time, it includes a guide to these questions, it's on of the menu items in the Main Menu.

Sorry I didnt expess myself well, I meant the template copyright. That is the copyright of the person who designed the template and not the mambo copyright.

I was thinking maybe it was that. I don't know, try contacting the author.

What template is it, where did you get it?

Its one of the many free templates that are available in various mambo sites for download. I guess I ll contact the author. When it comes to images they are completely different but maybe the code is not manipulated enough... I guess the only way is to contact the author.
