installing many templates at once?

Hello,

I am new to mambo.
I am trying out skins for my site.

How do I install many templates at once?

I have around 25 templates to upload and it is taking a while to do so with template manager.

Is there a way to upload all templates at once?

Sorry this kind of batch upload of templates is not possible in 4.5

It may be possible in 4.6.

I uploaded the whole bunch using ftp, but now the templates are not listed in sorted order.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? is there a configuration file or sortby property?

Andrew Eddie does have it working in 4.6. You can upload any number and any combination of components, templates, modules, mosbots, and language files with one installer file. Each set of files can be installed in its own directory within the installer file and the installer will progressively walk through those directories as it performs the various installations.

Andrew did it with code, but it was also possible to do it by associating XML namespaces with individual directories.
