Default Turn Off Kubrick Homepage Main Menu Javascript

Hi,

I have a small problem with my absolute favorite template "Kubrick" and hope somebody can help. I think it just involves deleting a line or two of javascript code in the Kubrick index.php file, but my lack of experience precludes me of saying for sure and I sure don't want to mess it up. So why don't I get to the problem already...

Location: On the bottom of the header image is the Menu (Main Menu). It is a horizontal listing of six Menu Items such as Home, FAQs, News, Contact Us.
Problem: On the frontpage only (Menu Item "Home"), when I hover the mouse over other Menu Items such as "FAQs", "News", "Contact Us", etc, the page content changes back and forth. I only want page content to change if visitors actually click the Menu Items. I don't know how to turn off (Javascript?) what is making this happen.
Details: If you were on the homepage and used your mouse to horizontally scroll from the Main Menu left (starting from Home) and went right (Home to FAQS to News to Contact Us...), here's what would happen. At Home, you would see the normal center-aligned homepage but as your mouse hovers atop Main Menu item FAQs, the content would change to left-aligned homepage, as your mouse stops hovering atop FAQs and is in between FAQs and News (just empty blue from the header image) the content changes to center-aligned homepage again, as you keep going right it now hovers atop Main Menu item News, content changes to left-aligned homepage again, as your mouse stops hovering atop News (in between News and Contact Us over empty blue from header image) the content changes to center-aligned homepage again, etc. I believe there is a line or two of javascript code in the index.php file that probably triggers this but cannot say for sure.
Notes: This only happens on the homepage so it's probably in the index.php file? I'm a newb very comfortable with text files but don't know anything about javascript. I found this out testing it in Opera. It does not happen in Firefox.

I should have tested in IE before posting...Just did and it worked fine. So it works in IE and Firefox and doesn't work in Opera. Looks like my "javascript" is fine

To try my best to clarify what this was all about if anybody in the future stumbles upon it, anybody familar with the Kubrick template knows the main menu items like Home and Contact Us and News and whatever are on the bottom of the header image in default white and the white bars change when each menu item changes (say from Home to Contact Us). What caused my problem was discovered tonight when I increased the font size in Firefox to 110%. I did this to test because some people use their browser with higher fonts and mine was displaying poorly as such it turned out. Anyway, I realized my problem was not an Opera issue after all. When I increased the font size tonight, the white bars went away, and when the white bars went away, my homepage would act funky. To fix it, I don't really understand why, I went in the layer.css file and lowered the Site Name font size from 4 to 3 because it raises the white bars a little higher on the header. As long as the white bars are visible, everything seems fine. I increased the page font size to 110% in Firefox, the white bars were still there and the aformentioned behavior in my past post went away. I went to Opera and increased the font size and the white bars were still there and the site looked good. Obviously I don't know exactly what I'm talking about here but this worked for me and I just felt like clarifying my post one last time.

In internet explorer, the kubrick template shows javascripts errors , they are coming from the horizontal menu items...
anyone has a fix?

Thanks
