Exclamation Making the footer stick to the bottom!

I'm using the Corporate template from Absalom Media, made famous by mamboserver.com.

When a webpage on my site has minimal text, or when a component doesn't need to display as long as or longer than the right-margin menu, the footer rises up and to the left.

Obviously, I am eager to have it stay where it's supposed to - designed to - be positioned.

I am very careful to modify the CSS - if that is even the place to resolve this (hey, I'm not THAT smart!), but I am very confused & frustrated by this behavior and want to fix it (by yesterday).

Where should I look and what should I do here. Thanks for your tips.

John

An old trick to set a minimum height/width in tables (should work on divs too), don't leave the tag empty or set it to match the (unfilled) template. (BTW... Anybody get a css min-xxx tag to work in ANY browser yet? )

ie, Wherever the mosMainbody tag is - td or div - set the height to 450px, then play with that number with whatever page content you have thats the absolute least you could display - like, the Search page. Now that it's set, when there's little or no content, you have a "full" page... when you have more than a screen full, it will expand the cell/div to accomodate it.

I'll look over the code tonight and get back to you on it.

Hopefully it should just require some clearing of the CSS.

No. I gave up on this template a long time ago - too frustratingly complex for my nerves.
