Default Template wrong in Firefox

Hi,
The template I am using displays fine in IE, but not in Firefox, as can be seen here: http://www.gillinghamband.org/firefo...le/example.jpg

Can I correct this by editing the template? If so, has anyone any idea what I would need to change?

Thanks

:-)

It may be a padding/margin issue or interference between the moduletable code and the box code.

I suggest going into the index.php and removing the xml prolog from the head code. Removing that code puts ie and firfox almost on the same page with each other.

You may then find that both browsers have the same problem in which case you can safely tinker with the css fixing the problem rather than fixing it for firefox and mucking it up for ie.

Sorry, I could give you a driect answer, but if it were me, I would do the above and then tinker for an hour or two.

It seems to be sorted now, thanks! :-)
I just deleted this part of the index.php file:

<?php echo "<?xml version=\"1.0\"?".">"; ?>
<?php
defined( '_VALID_MOS' ) or die( 'Direct Access to this location is not allowed.' );
?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

I'm just a bit worried that I may have removed something important that I shouldn't have? (It all looks fine though)
Also, what is it about this bit of code that caused the problem in the first place?
Thanks

:-)

Put it all back except for this:

<?php echo "<?xml version=\"1.0\"?".">"; ?>

You don't need it, but you should include the other.
