MOS 4.5 be2004 - my first template for mambo

I have released a first attempt at a template for Mambo. I have emphasized on small image sizes to keep download time down. It is based on some ideas from lots of other templates that I have seen, mostly not for mambo it must be said.

What do you think?
Dave

MOS 4.5 Re: be2004 - my first template for mambo

Thanks for your comments.

I have done another template, be2004-2, again it's fixed width and based on other templates found on the net.

There are two header images to choose from, the default one is a small file, repeated across the width and the second one is a little larger but looks much more colorfull. The template has it's own custom login module, so there is no need to include the mod_login.php module in your module structure.

and with the other header image:

See attached image and file.

instead of "installing" the template, just extract all the files to the /templates folder instead and just copy another template_thumbnail.png into that template directory. Will fix your problem.

Mark.

BTW: Nice template.

Hello,

Thank you for publication of your template.

The template does not work in Mambo 4.5.1. Can you please modify the template in such case that it will be possible to install on Mambo 4.5.1 and to work fine with that version of Mambo too?

Thank you.

Best regards from Neim Rustemi

open up the index.php file in notepad or whatever, and search for header_bg.png - so to change to the other header, replace "header_bg.png" with "header_bg2.jpg", save the file and thats it.
