Question 3-col variable-max width Template

Anyone knows of a free 3 col variable-max width Template like Digimania. Need one to help out a visually impaired person build his site.

Advantage of variable width: it adapts when anyone (not just a visually impaired person) changes the Text size.

Advantage of max width: it prevents a site having too wide lines. Very useful since it's well known that beyond 55 signs per line reading speed and understanding fall drastically. Hence the narrow columns of newsprints.

Thanks in advance for your help

Follow this link. You will find an incomplete list of suppliers with free and commercial variable (also fixed) width templates.
Mambohut has a good gallery to choose variable width. (I'm not affiliated!)

Another suggestion might be TextSizer found in action and downloadable here. It's a module, which switches css stylesheets for changing the fontsize.

I think, find yourself a nice template and combine it with TextSizer. Because due to the stylesheets selectable, you can play with the fontsize as well as, with contrasting colors. The latter is also supporting visual impaired and maybe more.

Plse, experiment on that! I've friends with the same problems.

Thank you very much for the information and the links.

Didn't find a max-width fluid lay-out in any on the sites mentioned but TextSizer could definitely be of help for the time being. It has the advantage over using ctrl + (in Firefox) that it only resizes the main content and not the navigation bars.

Author also offers a wonderfully clear explanation of Mambo API in his newsletter. Really helped me get the big picture...

Still looking for a free 3-col variable max width template so if anyone come across one, a link would be most welcome.
