Two Templates for Download

Hi there!

I'd like to give two of my templates to the community.
They are made for Mambo 4.5.1+, Fireworks PNG Files for the header and logo are included into the zip files.
You can see a live demo at www.07-24.com/mambo. Simply point at "GreenBiz" or "TechBlue" at the Template Chooser at the right side.

It would be a pleasure to me if you like the templates and download them.
Do you want to post comments about my templates in the forum? I invite you to do so.

hello there,

i already download your templates. awesome !!!

i'm not very good in php but i have wide knowledge in HTML. since u are a pro in mambo, i need to ask some questions. why is it when i uploaded a new template, it came out error message:
..../templates/index.php does not exist!

this is how i arrange the directory structure:
/templates
/basic_template
/css
template_css.css
/images
index.php
template_thumbnail.png
templateDetails.xml

the files above are in a .zip format. one more thing, should i include the index.html file. is it necessary to have images in png format?

hope u can give some tips and solutions.

You should only have the images in the /images folder. The xhtml , php and and your template thumbnail file should be in the template root folder. I think that might be the problem with your template.

I already try to place the xml, php and template thumbnail in the root folder. It comes out other error:

-> there is already a file called ...../templates/mutiara_rini/index.php. are you trying to install the same CMT twice?

this is how i arrange the directory structure:
inside /templates folder .... there is one folder named /basic_template.
inside /basic_template... there are 2 folders named: /css and /images.
under /basic_template ... there are 3 files named --> index.php, template_thumbnail.png, templateDetails.xml

i followed this sequence in the manual. if i re-arrange those 3 files under the root folder (/template), it comes out error message stated above.

Now, what actually went wrong here?

It seems to me like you tried installing th etemplate and got an error but the template was already partly installed on your mambo installation. See if you can delete it and then reinstall the template.

i already check the files inside the server. it seems that the index was not allowed to be written. changed to allow written. i delete it and reinstall the template. Yes !!! i finally manage to upload them. thanz arnez.

I have a question: I m trying to upload my own logo instead of the ones you have but I cannot make it. Could you help me?

Hello everybody!

I am sorry that I couldn't reply to your posts earlier but I just returned from my holidays. Seems that you could already solve the problem about installing the template.

If you want to replace the logos with your own there are just a few things you have to do. Make your own logo and name it "logo.gif". Then you install the template via the administrator interface. After this you must delete or rename the original "logo.gif". Last you put your own logo into the "templates/GreenBiz/images" or "templates/TechBlue/images" folder.

Maybe you prefer to design a new logo based on the original one? In this case you can use any elements of the original logo that you want to. That's why I packed the PNG files into the zip file.
