Flame SolarFlare II Template Released

Ever since the release of SolarFlare with the 4.5.1 version of Mambo, I've been inundated with requests to make it more tolerant of over-sized modules and components. I created the original SolarFlare using a pure DIV layout and they are not as strict in their placement or size compared with a pure TABLE structure. As a result of all this, I've overhauled SolarFlare completely and come up with SolarFlare II.

Flame Re: SolarFlare II Template Released

I installed this template because the original solarflare template caused the articles to gravitate to the bottom of the page leaving a big white blank space in the middle. The new one does the same thing. Is there any way to fix this?

This will happen if you have your frontpage content set to more than 1 column. Set it to 1 column and this will fix your problem.

I can't find where to set the columns option in 4.5.1 and cannot get to the mamboserver.com documentation. Where are the columns set? Also, the article already displays in only one column so I'm confused.

To set it to one column, you go to Menu > Main Menu and select your Home item (com_frontpage) to edit. Then click on the parameters tab. Once on the parameters tab, it is the second group of settings you will need to analyze. The thirs setting is columns.

This may not be your problem, but your symptoms were the same as mine and this fixed it for me.........www.lewishq.com

Flame Re: SolarFlare II Template Released

Ok I set the columns to 1 but it's still behaving the same way. The entire middle area that includes the article text, Latest News module, Popular module and Whos Online module are all being moved down below where the login form ends. I've tried unpublishing these 3 modules but the article still moves down the page.

I have a bmp image at this address:
