| Re: SolarFlare II Template Released I mean make sure that your modules are assigned to the locations defined in the template.....
For example, if you have banners assigned to the banner location, make sure Solarflare II has a banner locations defined. If you have news assigned to user 1, make sure there is a user 1.
This may all be futile if there is a problem with the template, but I had the same thing happen to mine.
It looked fine until I logged in, then it looked like the picture you posted. |

| Re: SolarFlare II Template Released If I do a view source on the page, copy and paste the html code into Microsoft Frontpage, it shows the left column on the right side of the screen and everything in the center section is pushed down toward the bottom (in normal WYSIWIG mode). If you go into preview mode, the left column displays on the left again. It looks as if the left column is trying to default to the right side of the screen. Also, it looks like the table cell that holds the left column may be connected to another table cell that could be causing the problem. It's hard to tell when everything is happening dynamically. I'm getting very frustrated with it. |

| Re: SolarFlare II Template Released Ok I sent the website link to your private message account.
It behaves the same way whether I'm logged in or not.
Thanks!

| Re: SolarFlare II Template Released Ok the problem is resolved. Most of the articles I had moved from the old site to the new site using copy/paste and most of them I dropped into textpad and then recopied in order to remove any rogue html tags that might get copied over. Evidently I got into a hurry and skipped this step with a lot of articles so I just need to go back and fix those.
svtpickemup - thank you so much for all of your assistance!

| Re: SolarFlare II Template Released Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone could give me a hand.
I need to make 2 (what I think would be simple) modifications to the default solarflare II template.
What I would like to do is:
Move the "Sponors" module up so it is even with the Banner module and stretch the banner across the entire page width.
I've tried looking at the code and messing with it but I haven't been able to get it right, could anyone give me a hand?
Thanks,
-Chris |
