This one clocks in at a staggering 21K Zipped.
I would like to send out a challenge to template designers
to come up with something sharp looking for
under 20K zipped!

This one is a guitar theme as well and the archive
includes the logo in PNG format for your alterations.

Open it up. Tear it apart. Let me know what
you think.

Hmm... as good as it sounds, the Challenge has a big issue to address..

-> The objective of the template design - who are we designing for? What function will the template play ?

Putting up a challenge to whip up a template under 20kb is too vague. We must consider that would a template that goes under 20kb be considered as a great template? It also takes in the consideration of layout, context, corp id and quite a few others.

7 designs in 28K = AB_Typeface

And generally the template_thumbnail PNG can be the presiding factor in getting a design under 20K.

Average size for a CSS file is 6K, index.php file can be anywhere from 1 to whatever, XML installer is about 1K, so the template thumbnail is the thing that kicks out an installer size.

Yur D'A Man!, Keep those Templates comming! Got a Suggestion.. (hehe) Since Coffee is yur MoJo, Motto and Business.. Lets see some JAVA Incorporated into yur themes.. I'll try on my end, see what we Canadians can Export...
