Adjusting the date in "Today In History" component

Hello. I installed the "Today In History" component and it works fine. However the server is located in the USA and the site is for an organization in the Philippines. Time zone difference between the server and the site. It is 15 June in the Philippines and the component is display what happened on 14 June. Is there a way to adjust the time/date difference in the component? And if so what file and how?
