Default Linux & Display Drivers (for my 700m)

hey all:
so i just recently got a dell inspiron 700m and at the same time installed suse 9.2 on it. everything has been great so far, except for the fact that max resolution is 800x600 while in windows it's 1200x800 (widescreen). i was wondering if anyone knows what i should do. i was thinking of maybe taking the drivers and trying to use ndiswrapper (not sure if that'd work) but i think that 800x600 is pretty crazy, i wouldn't even mind 1024...any advice would be great.

i posted this here, becasue everytime i post at a linux forum i get flamed...

If you haven't already been there, try this...

Dell Linux Forum

And, if you can figure out what vendor/model your display driver is, try doing a google seach for Linux drivers for it...
