K1_php in new module

when I use the code into content
{kl_php}
ob_start();
include("/home/icopts/public_html/syncx/titles/syncx_data.html");
$buf = ob_get_contents();
ob_end_clean();
return $buf;
{/kl_php}
It works and it return data….

But when I use it in new Module it does not return data & you can see the code on the page…..my understanding that I can use {k1_php} in content & in new module….

As far as setting I followed all the steps & turned off the editor

i had the same problem and can't solve it. Check out this post, though : http://mambers.com/showthread.php?p=88921#post88921 i think it's got something to do with a bad version / corrupt version of KL_PHP or badly configured...or none of the above.

I have not had a look at this bot, but afaik, bots can be used only on content row=>text) thus not in modules..?

Yes, I had the same problem - but don't despair!
Konlon also wrote a mod_kl_evalphp module that will parse PHP script directly in a module itself.
