Joomla vs Mambo

Hi,

I knew there has been a fork (call it waht you'd like) from Mambo to Joomla. I'm starting out now with a Mambo site.

2 Quick questions:
1) Can anyone tell me what the down the line dif. is suppose to be from the 2?

2) Should I be afraid of starting on Joomla now? I'm afraid that there will not be as many components and mods for joomla now. Also, of the known items in mambo, can I use those in joomla?

An odd bug I'm having, which I wonder if anyone in joomla is having- when I turn on the radio items for pdf, email, print in the main content area, only the rate it feature comes up, but none of the other features.

why so many joomla ? and no mambo

I'd switch to Joomla before I was too far into my site development if I were you! But, I am biased!

Joomla is great..

I think Joomla have more components than Manbo.

agreed with above, joomla is more search engine friendly also
