Help enabling clipboard actions for Mozilla/Netscape
You'll have to quit Mozilla/Netscape before you do this!

Find the files "prefs.js" and "user.js" on your local computer. Open them up with a texteditor and add the following lines:

user_pref("capability.policy.allowclipboard.Clipbo ard.cutcopy", "allAccess"); user_pref("capability.policy.allowclipboard.Clipbo ard.paste", "allAccess"); user_pref("capability.policy.policynames", "allowclipboard"); user_pref("capability.policy.allowclipboard.sites" , "http://www.YOUR SERVER HERE.com"); "http://www.YOUR SERVER HERE.com" of course must contain the URL of the server you want to allow to execute clipboard functions (such as cut, copy and paste).

Restart your browser.

in locale come dominio devo mettere 127.0.0.1 o localhost? perchè non va?

si deve mettere localhost...

ps... ma perchè non posso cancellare il thread non mi compare la voce....

io ho lo stesso problema .....

Non riesco a trovare nemmeno il file user.js

uso firefox 1.03

Ho fatto le modifiche , al file prefs.js ma user.js non lo trovo .

Inoltre come server chiaramente ho messo l'url del dominio su cui mambo è installato .

Qualche soluzione ?

se non lo trovi devi crearlo

apri notepad e salva il file con il nome user.js

Anche la tua va benissimo ma ho letto e capito solo dopo .

Riassumendo , io ho scaricato un plug-in dal sito di firefox "chromEdit" , che permette dal menu di firefox di configurare alcuni file tra cui "prefs.js".

Ho poi creato il file user.js con firefox chiuso .

Funziona (testato anche su firefox 1.04) .

users.js non serve.
Basta solo prefs.js

A me il problema era sorto di come mettere più siti nell'elenco dei siti in cui abilitare il copia/incolla .
Infatti se andava in locale poi non andava in remoto...

Hi people! (sorry mi italian is not good so I write in english)
I just found the solution in other forum (posted by PAUL, search google for mambo firefox enabling clipboard actions , thanks PAUL!!). I tested it and it works, without modifying any files.
To paste the contents just use the SHIFT-INSERT keys instead of the old CTRL-V.
I didn't even knew that there existed the shift-insert option!
I'm so happy with the solution that I registered here only to post it to others
