Question Are Front End Hit Counts Possible?

Is there a way to have hit counts appear on the (front end) site pages in plain text at the bottom of the page? A client wants a hit count appearing on each page, but does not want to resort to a page counter from a 3rd party site. Is there a module or hack to use the site stats which appear in the admin side of the site?

I've searched on google, and the forums, and found a couple hit counter modules which didn't work properly. They wouldn't display accurate counts, and used images for the count display.

This seems like it would be a really simple thing to do, and an obvious thing to have, so I feel like I'm missing something here.

Talking Re: Are Front End Hit Counts Possible?

Why is it that I find the answer to my question only after I've made myself look like an idiot on the forums?

For other people scratching their heads like I was, go under Modules, find the Statistics module, and set your details and parameters how you'd like them.

Question Re: Are Front End Hit Counts Possible?

Okay, wait. It's showing me one number for all pages - looks like maybe a sum of all hit counts?

Back to square one.

Is there a way to have a hit count appear on the bottom of each page which is specific to that page?
