I have this exact question. I'm new to Mambo/Joomla - been playing with it for a few weeks on and off. I'm now trying to build a site and I'd like to have a horizontal menu across the top that will contain the sections. When a section link is clicked, I'd like to display the categories (as links) in a side menu on the left. I just tried to create a module to do that via the Modules, Site Modules, new interface, but my code is displayed on the front end page, not the output. Is it possible to create PHP modles via the online interface? Does anyone have a module to display a list of category links for a section that can be used as a sub-menu? Thanks very much!

I really like you submenu and site and wanted to download the module however the link is broken could you let me know a new link where I can download the module
