Hi,

I want to modify the login module so that it has an image as background.

This image i supplied by a customer and has already the boxes for username and password.

How do i cope with this?

Well, you can use css to assign a background image. I would just put a div around the call to the moldule position you plan to use for the login module in your template, and then assign the background image to that div, that way you aren't affecting all modules with the background image. Or you can use Stingrey's individual module styling hack available on his mosforge project site (display news is the name of his project, I believe).

BUT! You should get the picture without the imput boxes, since those will need to be form elements that are already coded into mod_login.php.

Coyote has also published a hack that allows you to use different 'template' for any module.
Haven't tried it myself and I don't know if it will be of any use to you, but here's the link so you can at least see if it is what you are looking for:
