Default dTree menu questions

Is it possible to get rid of the + and - signs next to menu items which have children? I would also like to have all of the items under "Top" lined up properly. Notice how "home" is farther to the left than the others.

You can see it here

Am using it.
What you want is against usability, "hom" is further left because it's the root node, kinda like the master level, should be distinct from the others.
why do you want not to let your users know where there are subitems? playing hide'n'seek? if you must, then just replace both icons by a transparent gif..

I have the menu always expanded by default. There is no need for my users to collapse the menu.
