I am currently having a Joomla based, LAMP environment website created. We are doing basic setup with the Community, Shopping cart, and advanced SEO components.

After basic setup, I plan to create a web based application. I would like to know what my options are within the Joomla environment. Would this be a module?

The application would pose questions to the visitor that would determine many variables that would be selections from entries in the MySQL db. Based on the visitors answers, it would make suggestions of action items that the visitor can take and deliver a report. The report would have links to suggested products they can purchase on the website to fulfill the action items along with instructions on how to complete the action items on their own. It may also provide a list of service companies that could do the action items for them.(which will be stored in the db based on a geographical question in the beginning process)

Would this be completed as a module in Joomla? If not, how would this application be developed and where would I go to get that done?
