Good idea, I also use it with " mambo wrapper " but this script would deserve to become a component

Currently experimenting with Open-realty in wrapper...ok, but would love to see it as a full-blown MOS component.

I too am testing in with the wrapper now but would be nice to add adminstrative ability inside of mambo too.

Would be a great component and great reason to push Mambo to Real Estate companies who don't have a large budget to develop professional looking web sites.

Hi. I agree Open Realty is a great application and it would be great if it could be integrated with Mambo. I'd be very interested in seeing that come to fruition.

In the meantime, can anyone post their URLs for implementations of Open Realty in wrapper. I have used the Wrapper add-on yet and would really like to see how well OR comes through in a wrapper.

Thanks much.

Sean

The open realty demo is down. Can anyone tell me where I can see one running. Also does this use the RETZ standards?

thanks,

I'll add my vote to the list. Would like very much to see such a component.

Home Re: Open Realty

I am also currently looking for a solution to a real estate website that i am hoping to base on mambo.

given the fact that real estate component is obviously aimed at commercial buisnesses, how many people would be willing to pay out for it???? and how much??? $20, $50, $100??

i have no programming skills myself, just an idea to maybe get someone motivated to do it, as i know i would pay a small fee if it did all that i need!!!

hope to get a reply on this as it would be great

I would rather look at it like "How much would a developer need create it?" We raise the one time fee as a community and when it is completed it is made available as open source. That way the developer earns a just reward for his work and another great component is unleashed to the MOS community.

I would be interested in this component as well, but I might add that Phil had been previously working on this component. He actually had a large portion of it finished, I assume now that personal issues are out of the way, he would be starting to work on it again.

Phil, any news or updates on this component?
