Not ableto login to admin pages

Hi , All
I am new to Mambo and from what I have seen so far, really like it.

But right now I am not able to login to the admin pages to do any configuration. It presents the login page but after I put in what I think is the user and password, it just returns me to the admin login page. Any help would be great.

Make sure to delete the Install folder. I installed phpmyadmin and accessed the databased directly. You can update the password for the admin account using MD5 hash directly with phpmyadmin.

Thannks. I di dbot of those thing alos but it still doe snot know who the user is via the admin screen. It works fine if I do it as the user in the mambo main screen. Still seeing if it may be becuase of the user that built the Db.

Yes, I am getting something similar, I attempt to change a users detail, for example, then when prompted, enter the correct login details, only to be thrown back the the site config window again.

Any ideas anyone?
