MOS 4.5 Problem with Contact Form location

Hi

I have been working for a few days on my totally new mambo 4.5.1.0.8 installation but have a problem with the contact component.

No matter what i do, the contact form is shown just below the main menu, instead of apear on the main content area like the rest of the info i'm publishing.

IS there a way to tell the component where to you the contact form?

NOTE: the problem is not the template because, no matter what template i use i still have the same problem.

thanks for your help

Leo

Have not seen that before, you might try deleting the current link on the main menu and recreating one to the contact component.

I just tried it at the link you gave and it worked fine. Did you figure it out or is it still doing it to you when you try? You might try a different browser as you may have a cookie/cache problem. I am using Firefox.

I didnīt know this, but the contact form looks ok on Firefox.

The problem is shown only on Internet Explorer and Opera. I want it to work properly, at lest, on IE because a los of people is still using this browser.

Any suggestion?

The problem is you've commented out the login module in the source which has screwed the table positioning. Find some other way of hiding your login box (Admin/Manage Modules/choose pages for login mod).

Actually, i haven't touched the source code.

However, the login form does not appear on the contact form even if i use the module management panel to tell mambo to show this form on ALL pages.
