Hi, my mambo is version 4.5 , i try to upload and install additional module such as virusfeed and textads but after upload, try to find at admin area, cannot find it ready at there. I also try another option by click upload module and install at the admin page, but it say error installing module.

Let's say the virusfeed consist of 2 file:
a)mod_virusfeed.php
b)mod_virusfeed in xml

Am i only need to upload the a) into the modules folder.

Help, i have upload it, but cannot install

Wrong my friend !!!!
you need to upload the whole module zip file
trought the mambo admin pannel>install module

not ftp and not files one by one


do not unzip the file!upload the whole thing
your cofiguration must be wreritable for all uploads and changes.
your php>safe mode must be off
