Will not let me log in with my admin name and password

I just got mambo working,After 5 hours! Any ways,I can't seem to log into the admin with the admin name and password I made in the setup.I did not delite the installitaion folder like it asked,can this by why?Or ir there another reason.All info is welcome,and please talk in supra n00bie talk,I ay extreamly new with all of this

I hate the automatic mambo installation, I would prefer going the old fashioned way, edit the mysql file in the sql folder, at the botton you'e going to see the admin username and apssword with a # in front of the whole line. Delete the # and go into your phpadmin, drop all the sql databases created by the automatic installation and upload the sql file manually. That should fix your login problems. By the way never leave the login info to default admin and admin that's a serious security issue.

Yea,Odd.I called my buddy at my website hosts proviers and asked what your said ment,and he said just try admin/admin and it worked?!!! I was like WTF?!! I gave it a new password before.Ah well,at least it works now!

hehe ok then you did everything right

but automatic installation sucks I never use it.
