Default Can't login after add/remove/add Yanc newsletter

I accidently added Yanc newsletter twice when I first installed mambo. I didn't try to remove the duplicate component. That was a few weeks ago, so today I couldn't remember which newsletter component I installed so I stupidly installed the newest version of Yanc 1.2. I then tried to delete the one of the three, which made all three useless, i.e., their menus still appear on the components list but don't function. So I reininstalled Yanc 1.2, which got it working again, but the problem now is everytime i try to sign in via the administrator login, either as myself or as admin, I'm returned to the admin login. No error messages. I just get the administrator login screen. I can login via the front end and edit content but I can't login from the backend.

I'm running Mambo v1.0.7 and Yanc 1.2 newsletter.

Help, what have I done?

I figured it out after reading everyone posting about "login" problems. I'm glad mine was simple. I just deleted the cookie and cleared the cache for my IE browser. Any ideas on how to remove the extra set of Newsletter menus haning off on the Components menu?

To remove the menus from the components menu, you'll have to manually delete the entries in the database. If you are using something like MySQL, you can easily do it through a graphical interface like phpMyAdmin and remove the entries that refer to your Newsletter from mos_compononents table.
