Yep,

1) make a link to the component via the main menu
2) log in via the FRONT END using your superadmin username and password, you should now be able to create new categories etc...

Good luck.

I followed all the instructions but when I create an ad with a photo upload I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: bcdiv()

Works fine without a photo upload.

thanks!

Question Re: Need to install classifieds module

I also just installed Mambads.
Components so far works fine, I only have problem that I cannot upload any pics.
Edited the mambads.php and even tried different path's and CHMODed the chosen upload-directory to 777.
But when I try to upload the tinyest jpg-file, I always get the same error-message that only jpg, jpeg and png files up to 50 kb are allowed.

Any thoughts on this?
thanks and regards
Thomas

I increased the allowed size of photos to 100 x 100 and it allowed me to upload an image that it previously would not.

You can change it in the mambads.php file that contains all the other modifiable parameters.

Thanks for your help. But this thing is driving me nut....

I now discovered, that the pic-upload in IE6 works fine, where as the very same pics do not upload from Mozilla.

Go figure.......;-)
Any clues on this?

No I'm not familiar with the nuances of other browsers. Maybe someone else can assist you with that problem. Good luck!
