RedCross Infernal Server Error on Chat and Download Components - Help!!!

I have a number of sites that I own or manage hosted with Doteasy (on unix Ultra hosting) and have run into a rather frustrating bug. I have been trying to get chat and download managers working in mambo on my main site www.mediabox101.com for the last couple of days but keep getting server errors when I try to run these components (I have no problems with any other functions). To test if the problem was specific to my site I set-up a sub domain on one of my managed sites to try a clean install - again I get the same internal server errors.

I have setup a test site at:

www.metaldog.socalpleasureseekers.com

I have installed Mos Chat - doesn't work (Chat on menu)

I noticed that Doteasy distributes Simple chat, so I tracked down simple chat for mambo - doesn't work (Simple on menu)

I tried installing Remository document manager - cant upload files

So I tried Docman, lets me upload files, but again when I try to download I get the same message....

I know the compnents work, and should work without problems...
Is there is something I'm missing, or is this an issue with Doteasy's server configuration? Is there an easy fix for this bug?

If anyone needs access to the test site admin, shoot me a PM and I'll return the login details. Thanks in advance for whatever light you can shed on this.

Flame Re: Infernal Server Error on Chat and Download Components - Help!!!

The scripts were installed as standard components within Mambo, which has worked fine for everything else (check out www.mediabox101.com , everything else works fine)

I did make a few changes to add extra security, but tried setting these back to default without success. That's why I set up a totally clean test site, just to see if the problem was there. Test Site.

I CHMOD'd the folders, the scripts, and the litchen sink - NOTHING!

So I took a look at the error logs, here's what it says...

[Tue May 18 18:45:21 2004] [error] [client 66.229.xxx.xxx] File does not exist: /home/virtual/site77/fst/var/www/html/http:/www.mediabox101.com/templates/travel/images/favicon.ico

[Tue May 18 18:45:58 2004] [error] [client 66.229.xxx.xxx] File does not exist: /home/virtual/site77/fst/var/www/html/favicon.ico

[Tue May 18 18:51:28 2004] [error] [client 66.229.xxx.xxx] Premature end of script headers: /home/virtual/site77/fst/var/www/interpreters/php-script

What the *&%^ is favicon.ico supposed to be when it's at home? The same error occurs on the test site, again with favicon.ico, and Premature end of script... interpreters/php-script

So, does the problem lay with interpreters/php-script? There is no favicon.ico in the graphics template (it's not part of the design - point blank, and there's no favicon.ico in any of the install files.

Any ideas?

Default Re: Infernal Server Error on Chat and Download Components - Help!!!

I read in other topics that the combination with Simpleboard does create different errors.
I used skychat for a website (www.dc-ikan.nl), but it is a module, not a component. This works fine, although it is very simple
