Hello,

I was wanting to find an editor that handled tables better than htmlarea2, so went and tried a bunch. I did get htmlarea3 to work but now after playing around with a bunch of there ones like Fckeditor and Htmleditor3_xtd without any luck, now I can't get htmlarea3 to work properly again.

I am running 4.5 Stable-1.0.7. I have two mambo installations running on the same server. (which did with the dbprefix_install_hack) The one that I am encountering the problem with is the one that was installed in a subfolder. Everything works fine with RTE and HTMLArea2.

The htmlarea3 is working fine in my first installation in the root directory. here is a screen print of the problem:





Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

actually now the htmlarea3 is not working properly on both of my mambo installations. Trying to install the ohter more complex editors screwed everything up.

It is not saving the chages I make in new content or old content.

What should I do.

My installation in the roo tdirectory is about a year old so it has a lot of information I don't want to loose.

The second installation was realtively new so I dropped all the databases and re-installed Mambo 4.5 1.0.7 and still I couldn't get htmlarea3 to work! Fortunately htmlarea2 works fine but it's table properties are very limited?

I need suggestions,please.

That worked. I have been at this all day long. Now I guess I won't have to re-install as I planned to do in the morning to see if anything worked. This is enough for me, I don't mind Htmlarea2 as long as I can manipulate tables and now I can. It will be awhile before I play around with these editors again!
