Default Admin Panel

i hv no problem installing the latest version of mambo 4.5. however when i login to the admin panel at www.yoursite.com/administrator, i only able to see

my site name ...... Logged in as admin 0 unread messages 3 users online

the admin panel are unlike the previous version when i can manipulate the menu...etc..

Am i missing anything?

Yeah...there should be a horizontal menu that starts with site...content...components...etc.

Maybe you've depleted your system resources. Do you still have the problem after a reboot?

There may be a simple answer...but I don't know it. The first thing I would check is permissions on all the directories. When something goes wrong on one of my installs I rename the config.php and go thruogh the install process again. If its a clean install and you don't have any data or customizations, it might be a good idea to use phpmyamin and wipe the db clean before reinstalling. If you're not in a rush, wait for Gayle or one of the other experts to come along.
