I was attempting to install the phpbb component, and now I'm locked out of my admin, with the error "You cannot log in. There are no administrators set up." The problem is the component returned fatal errors when unpacking files, then crashed the browser. The problematic thing with the component, if the documentation articulates it correctly (as I understand it), is it also replaces the user list via mambo, so that users are added through it rather than the standard mambo userlist. Apparently, part of the component must have installed, because whenever I try to now log in as admin, mambo comes back with the error above, meaning I can't uninstall it or get admin access.

Is there any way to reset user info and uninstall this component, but still keep my content? Any ideas on how to get back in?

I have not such a disaster after installed phpBB but I got the following problem:

I installed phpBB with out any problems. Thats good. But I realized that when I would like to create a new user, this user is something like corrupt. I can't see this user at the admin backend but in the DB via phpmyadmin. It is possible to login (you can see it under "users online") but there is no User Menue. Additional all the content items are marked as checke out by this new user. Strange.
Any ideas

Delete the INSTALL file from Mambo root.
