I have serveral questions about getting ranked on search engines.

In the admin global config section there is a place to put meta words. For some reason ////'s keep getting added to the content. Why and how can I or should I stop it?

There are often Meta tags in templates that can be set for your site, are the meta words there and meta words in the global conflicting and effecting the ranking? Is this overkill resulting in search engines ignoring the site?

What number indicates a healthy number of search engine bots on a site? I am getting about 5 a day.

What are the most important Meta Tag Variable to insure are set?

I use SEF advance with the spaces set to - on the long urls

because of meta tag spamming no "good" searchengine recognizes meta tags anymore. only the description tag is usefull. for google i.e. the title, headlines, foldernames and the maintext should include your keywords but most important are links from other sites to your site.

Resave your meta data without 's (quotes) and that should solve the problem.
