Angry WYSIWYG Editors

hi!
I want to install an editor like the one used in these forums in my mambo site.
how do I do that?
I am a newbie to mambo and I read somewhere about fckeditor and tinymce and installed them both in the editors folder.
I also changed the global settings, but I dont know where I am supposed to see the editor?

I went and edited some text that I had saved before, but the editor was still the same.

I also cant add pictures to my posts.

I was wondering if this is because I am using a mac?

I have tried both safari and internet explorer, on both editing looks like this before and after installing the new editors on my server:

anyone know how to help?

I WANT A KICK-*** EDITOR TOO
It would be great!

Tips:

1)Use HTMLarea xtd for a exelecent editor
2)Set the editor in the Site->Global options menu
3) Read the HTMLarea xtd readme for any more help on editors

Hope that helps,
-R

I ended up installing HTMLArea3 XTD-C and downloading firefox...

I found another thread in the forum and it seems to be the only good solution for macs.

oh well...
I love my safari but, firefox looks neat too.

Thanks a lot for your help

Safari is pathetic. What do you like about it? The skin? Well Safari only runs skin deep on mozilla 1.2. And remember Safari IS Mozilla. So it blows my mind that Apple doesn't update Safari when Firefox updates. It is so infant I don't consider it a browser at all for developers. For simple retarted surfing it works just average.

Firefox 0.91 is the best solution for Mac until 2005. If i were a mac user I would remove IE and Safari from my menu bar altogether until Tiger is released.

It's funny Apple markets themselves as innovators and makes their users feel you are on top with the latest technology when you use mac when actually it's the contrary. Whenever something is released they say its revolutionary and new. That statement is only true to Mac Users alone. LOL
