difficulty putting content on front page..!!

For some reason I cant put any content on the front page. Is that a bug??
I am creating new sections, adding items and publishing them with the option of letting it be on front page, but nothing!!

then when I click on home - it shows...but the url is not site.com = the url is site.com/content blablabla...

so how do I show my stuff on the home page when it first loads...

Hmmm, didn't know that mambo would do such a thing. Bump your "Home" link up to the top of the list, instead of the bottom and it'll probably work.

they were on top..i moved them down and then up again..still nothing.

i am also unable to delete sections...is that some bug?

Have you looked in the components/frontpage parameters?

Perhaps you only have a count of 2 or 3 there as the default?

You might also have to add them as items for the front page?

This is where you do the ordering and layout as well.

I tried to change it. it was originally 6 and 3...I changed it to 10 and 10 and then back to 1 and 1

there was no change in display..still no change.

why cant I delete sections?
