Change language

How do I change to another language besides the default english? I downloaded the swedish language files, used the admin backend to upload them to the server, then tried to publish them thru "Site -> Language Manager" but that don't work! How do i make it work?

Any advice appriciated!

You have to put the language file in the language directory. That should do the trick.

Besides "Site -> Language Manager" you have to set: Site > global configuration > locale > language: swedish

That I did but I didn't make any changes to the global configuration...

I too am trying to use multilanguage function - am using mambelfish. I found my language packs and created folders for each language then uploaded to language directory. I went to site - global - locale but only english is there. I have no languages choices to select.

advice, anyone?

I want to use asian languages, chinese, korean, japanese, viet.
