"read more" link visible when nothing in Main text field

I have this annoying thing happening on my frontpage where my news article, which sits center, shows "Read more..." when there is nothing more to read. I went into "Editing content in The News section" and put my story in the required section. There is nothing in the main text section. How do i get rid of "read more..."???

In the main section click the button to reveal html, you will find there is brobably a <br> there or something like that. Easy fixed...

Upgrade to 4.5 1.0.7 as soon as possible!!! There are VERY serious security problems with 1.0.5!

thanks badbaker.com. went into Editing content in The News section and clicked on html. say the nasty culprit and deleted the hell out of it. it works fine now.

SvenErik: thanks for the reminder. I just read about the upgrade

and will take care of it.

I'm using 1.0.9 and I also have this annoying Read more appearing even though there isn't

The strange thing about it is, that it only appears when I ue Firefox - not when I'm working with IE6.
