I want to change the way the Frontpage Items are displayed.

Do not want that many linebreakes like the default does:
- newsheadline -
- Written by -
- date -
- article -
- Last Updated -
- Read more... -

but:
- newsheadline
- written by ... on - date - last update -
- article
- read more


where is the file I need to change?

Some of that information can be controlled in global configuration, but if you want ot edite the html output, the file is located in:

/components/com_content/content.html.php

i know, but isn't there a plugin to do it with, or an other solution, cuz that file has a lot of crap in it.....
