Default Cells like in MamboPortal

OK, here's the deal. There are 3 columns in home page of MamboPortal. 1st with menu on the left, 2nd with mainbody in the middle and 3rd with polls on the right. When I choose News from 1st cell (menu) the 2nd and 3rd are "connecting" together in one mainbody cell. How to do this? I'm wondering if there is a possibility to even get rid of 1st menu cell and cause mainbody to take whole lower part of the screen ? (I use JScook menu in top horizontal frame)

Hi,

there are several ways. The easiest (without much coding) is to select the pages, where the modules of "left" should be loaded. You can find it in the manage-modules-mask.

Hi -

fairly easy. With cerain templates it works like mamboportal: When you configure Modules (like Polls etc) you can define with which pages they are supposed to be shown. If there are pages (categories, sections...) where you don't have any modules left, it looks like News on Mamboportal.
Try it, if it doesn't work for your template, try another.

Hope it helps,
