How to limit number of items in horizontal menu (included in some templates)?

I have 2 menus one on the side the reg. one
and one under the header .
Every time I add somithing to the menu the headher menu bar is expanding.
How do I limt this to let say just 4-5 modules??

You can use Jason Murphy's MyMenu. I believe Arthur has it at http://www.mamboportal.com. That will allow you to setup a menu like a module, and only have the items you want. If you visit http://www.mambo-hosting.com and look to the right modules, the short menu with the TOS and AUP is using MyMenu.

I will try that but am I going to be able to keep both menus??
Let say 5 items in the top header menu and let say 15 in the right one.

Nee what a heck I will try let see what happends!

Yes you will be able to keep both menus.

The right menu is based on the module mod_mainmenu.php

The top menu is a dynamic horizontal menu that is hardcoded into your template.

If you have 5 menus assigned to the Main Menu, only these 5 will show in the dynamic horizontal menu.

With MyMenu, a new module is created, with the name you specify and you assign any number of menu items to it and position it anywhere you want. these items will not be visible in the top horizontal menu.

An example of something like this is here on my site.

The top horizontal menu is a slightly modified version of the one you are using and is showing all the main menu items.
The right menu is a Mymenu. I have decided not to display the Main Menu module.
