Default newsflash wont show up, but when i change the theme, it does!!!

I am very new to mambo, so bare with me.

I enabled "newsflash" in modules manager (administrator/index2.php?option=Modules) and i configured it to be displayed at the bottom of the page.

I dont really know....but...does the "newsflash" module depends on the theme? I mean, if the theme does not allow it, "newsflash" wont show up?

Because, when i change the theme, "newsflash" appears just fine. When i go back to the theme i want to use, "newsflash" is gone.

So, how do i enable "newsflash" on the theme i want to use? What do i edit? Where do i edit? Please be specific, because i dont have much knowledge in mambo, or php.

Thank you

<?php mosLoadModules ( 'left' ); ?>

Same goes for top/right/bottom/user1/user2

Use dreamweaver 2004 and open php through design view. That way u know which code sits where. Add module includes after that. Its a breeze then!
