well, not exactly ....

I'm looking for links of related articles/items after the article. Like it says on the section. Here is an example:

ARTICLE HEADLINE
article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content. article content.

RELATED ITEMS

Sorry as far as I know there is no mambot available to do this.

If you really need this, then I'd suggest going to mambobrothers.com and getting John & Wim to help you out.

They are the resident experts on mambots/mosbots (having created the most out of any developer that I am aware of).

There's already a module that comes with Mambo that does what you want. It use's the meta keys for each content item. Therefore I believe you must type in certain meta keywords for each content item that you create.

The module is called ... mod_related_items - find it within your modules directory.

If you are after a mambot that does this, it shouldn't be too difficult to create one. Maybe someone with more experience and/or time will create one

Cheers,

Nathan

What are the parameters to use in "mod_related_items", so that I can limit the number of articles being shown? Our site www.GuardMyCreditFile.org writes a lot of articles on one subject. Therefore, when I turn this on I get over 80+ related articles.

Then to go one step farther, is there parameters, that will allow it to randomly select the articles, so that the same 5 are not always coming up?

Thanks
