Question Strange Theme/CSS problem with calendar module

Does anyone understand how the calendar module CSS code interacts with themes?

I've been looking around in the CSS and HTML but can't find the answer to this one.

On my site www.edcassin.com I have calendar running.
I also have the template chooser module.

If you view the calendar in the default theme (corp), it behaves very strangely when viewed through ther firefox browser (seems to be a css problem).
When you hover your mouse over certain dates, they change from bold to unbold which throws the whole thing out a bit. This doesn't seem to happen with IE.
The strange thing is, this only happens on the "home" page. when you select another link from the menu, the problem goes away.

If you choose template module "celtic" the calendar is a bit dark, but the
problem is non-existnet (even on the home page).

I can only guess that the theme is overriding the calendar theme.

It's a weird problem, and I don't expect any quick answers, but if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd much appreciate it.

I've just converted my site to mambo from postnuke, and I'm really impressed so far. Only problem is I'm not as familiar with the back-end.

the problem does not occur at my ff installation

locate the file modules/mod_events_cal.css
you will find some of those lines:
Code:
    font-weight: __something__;
they change the bold, underline, normal, italic status....
so if you delete them, your problem should be gone....

i suggest you comment out the whole css definitions and use just those you need... cause the numbers can't be read on celtic background....

Thanx Scox!

There is a config option for the calendar
when I log in as Admin.
This allows me to edit a style sheet.
Do you know if it's the same one??
