I've got a problem with Mambel Fish, hopefully someone here might be able to give me some help.

The installation is all fine, everything works - except one bug. Category titles aren't translated on the breadcrumb/pathway.

I'm working on a bilingual Irish/English site. The breadcrumb looks like this in English:

Home > The Organisation > Aims

and in Irish it should look like:

Baile > An Eagraíocht > Aidhmeanna

but instead it looks like:

Baile > An Eagraíocht > Aims

It's like this when looking at the category page itself, and when looking at items within the category. Even though the title appears in English, clicking on the link will bring you to the Irish version.

I'm running Mambo 4.5.1a Stable and Mamble Fish V1.5 (2004-11-05)

So far this seems to be the only bug I really need fixed, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just to clarify, the category pages are translated - that's not the problem - the "Aidhmeanna" page looks fine in Irish, except the breadcrumb. I also translated the menu items, and it looks ok on the menu.

Hi,
I did manage to fix the problem. What I did was got the pathway.php file from an older core patch for mambelfish, and used it to replace the existing one I had in mambo.

Hi Aonghus,
I have been searching for a long while for info on Irish language or dual Irish/English facility for Joomla (or even Mambo). Am I right in thinking that you have got this working on your site? If so, can you share how, and possibly the language files?
I'm setting up a website for another charity. My Irish is so rusty from school/Gaeltacht that it is not usable, and I don't really have the resources to pay for translation into Irish. Any help you could provide would be great.
