Default Dynamic page title in v. 4.5.0

I need to change the page/browser <title> for each different page displayed in v. 4.5.0. Right now it always displays $mosConfig_sitename, but I need it to display the site name + article name (ie: My Site - Find Help). In browsing around various pages on the net it looks like this feature is available in v. 4.5.1, as a function in mambo.php. But v. 4.5.0 doesn't have this feature (or even mambo.php), at least I can't find it. Is there a hack for this, or does anyone know how I might accomplish this task in v. 4.5.0? Thanks much for your help.

I believe that mambo.php is in the "classes" directory, and not in "includes" on 4.5.0. Unless there's some major reason not to - why not upgrade and save yourself the coding issue entirely?

Yes, mambo.php is in the "classes" directory in 4.5.0. Of course this version does not provide for dynamic titles. It's not my decision to upgrade to 4.5.1. I am an independent developer brought in to modify mambo to fit their needs. They have said that 4.5.1 is not an option, so it's not my call. Thanks.

Thumbs up Re: Dynamic page title in v. 4.5.0

Here's the initial hack for 4.5.0.x that ended up being dynamic page titles in 4.5.1. Integrate into your template using the following code:

PHP Code:
 include($mosConfig_absolute_path."/templates/<templatename>/titles.php");
at the start of the template file

What do I need to include in the <title> tag in the template index.php file for this to work - and what should the title tag then say - I dont think its working for me.

Can't seem to download the script from Brian Hibbits site - does anyone have the script? and the hack posted by Absalom doesn't seem to do anything. I can get it to cause parse errrors and I can get it parse perfectly........but it doesn't do anything to my page titles. Running 4.5.0. -1.0.9 and upgrading to 4.5.2 isn't an option at the moment
thanks in advance
