Default More than one JSCook Menu?

Hi folks,

i have integrated the JSCook Menu for my website, no problems so far.

But how can I integrate 2 or more menus, f.e. one for the mainmenu and one for a mymenu?

Any suggestions for me?

Thanks for help!

Have you tried my new module:

Display Menu - JSCook 1-0-1

Forum Discussion:
http://forum.mamboserver.com/viewtopic.php?t=13731

Info:

However, there is a big problem with having multiple versions of the JSCook menu on a site.
This applies to the JSCook code itself, and affects my module and any other way you implement multiple instances of JSCook menus.

You can have multiple instances of a JSCook menu.
However, only one can actually have dropdown submenus. The other cannot not have submenus
This is an IE problem with the JSCook code.
Works perfectly fine in Firefox.

I haven't got the javascript skills to fix this problem.

To create multiple copies of the module, or any module read here:

Best solution if you want to have multiple dropdown menus on a page is to try another solution...sorry

For those wishing to create multiple copies of any module, this is now possible without having to manually edit your database, this new component automates the whole process by making it a point and click affair.

Question Re: More than one JSCook Menu?

Fine, great solution! But, I have two mainmenu's now. My problem is to get different submenu's in it. Is that possible?

Yep, definitely so. In the parameters for your menus, you need to specify which menu the jscook is going to produce. Main menu is produced by default.

So you need something like for the menu that is begin used for your user menu:

menu=usermenu
orientation=vbr
theme=basic

I just tried using these peramitars on the second JSCook module and my menu doesn't change, any ideas?

I would like to have two different JSCook Menus on my page.

I have lived on Okinawa Japan for a long time. I am now going to put my pictures online. This is a personal Japan photo blog and cultural information resource. Okinawa Japan is home.
Okinawa is one of the most beautiful places in all of Japan.
