Hi,
I want to create a website with Flash home page and want to use Mambo as contents pages. How can I give links to Mambo content pages.

I also want to use different templets for different section of the web-site, how can I do this all from a single database.

Pl. suggest required modules, com etc to achieve this.

Install MAMBO in a sub directory of your server, and link your flash homepage to it

Install version 4.5.1a (instead of version 4.5) and use the built-in ASSIGN feature :-)

Can you elaborate more on First reply, as I am newby.

I have 4.5 Installed and will try with 4.5.1a as suggested by you for multiple templets.

Step 1: Install as many templates as you want
admin-->site-->template manager-->site templates-->new etc.....
After you have installed all the templates at the backend (administration end), go to

Step 2: Assign a different template to each location (to each menu entry)
admin-->site-->template manager-->site templates-->
check the radio button (to the left) of any template you want and press the ASSIGN button at the top menu. Click any page(s) (hold the CTRL key to click on multiple locations) you want driven by that template, and click SAVE.

Go to the front end to check that the pages you have clicked are driven by the chosen template.

DONE!

Oops I wanted help on linking flash to mambo pages. I have created flash home page with links (same as links in Main menu of mambo), now from flash link I directly want to goto that link related data in Mambo.

Anyway Thanks for detail reply on Assign feature of 4.5.1a.

The main aim of CMS to manage all website content ,
and So menu items ,
for example ,
if u want to add new content and link specific menu item to it
so u must use mambo menu sir .

If u have flash menu sir , So u can n't use all feature of MAMbo
as in fdalsh menu u add speciific content to specific menu item , and so u have to cahnge the links in falsh menu every time
u want to link menu item to any content
