phpbb and mambo share user tables?

Hi,

Is it possible to have the latest phpbb forum (V.2.0.10) and Mambo use the same user tables in my DB? Ultimately I want to be able to login to one and it will automically log you in to the other.

I presume for someone in the know it would just be a case of a simple SQL query? or 2?

any help offered is gratefully recieved. I will post the answer if I find it elsewhere because I am sure this would be useful to other Mambo users.

Sure

you can have has many you like but, the prefix must by diferent

Any idea how to make it happen?

I have the standard prefixes of mos_users and phbb_users, but how do they get linked together.
