Hi everyone, what a debate here isn’t it?

Safe mode is off, but PHP config still Unwriteable

I' using Fantastico to manage my server and my database... You can Skipe me at any time to talk over IP via my website: http://www.journallocal.com/ and acces my PC via VNC at this adress: http://www.journallocal.com/index.ph...ntact&Itemid=3

So who's going to solve this thing ???

Is the configuration.php CHMOD to 777 ?

However, I advise to always edit your configuration.php by hand/manually and leave it set to 644 as it should be. It's pretty easy to edit by hand....

I solve my problem by learning how to acces my server via xcontroler (Fantastico) or cpanel if you like. So TKS again...

youve mentioned that you need to turn it off but how??? frustratingly no one is getting to the how bit in anything!!
