I made some animated tutorials for beginning mambo users following are the links:

Adding Content & Images

Installing a template

Installing Mambo OS 4.5

maybe a tutorial on the tutorial....behind the scenes type of thing?

Sure its made with Viewletbuilder www.qarbon.com there are some programs with the same possibilities, Camtasia and Robodemo

One more question, I see you have this as a menu item...

is it possible to create an html page as a content item page and have one of these files play?

Yes.. i don't do this yet because the size will tear my lay-out apart, but im working on a new lay-out where im going to do this, just copy the flash code into the html editor and upload the swf.. pretty easy

Yeah off course shall i make 1 post with all 3 animations, so i can update it since there comming more of these tutorials soon
